About Me

Welcome to my homepage. I have graduated with my PhD degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014! My advisor is Prof. Jarek Rossignac. Before coming to Georgia Tech, I got my undergraduate degree with first class honours in Electronic Engineering and Mathematics from HKUST. When in high school, I also won national award in Physics Olympiad.

My doctoral work centers on Geometric Modeling, Data Visualization and Large-scale Analysis problems. My research at Georgia Tech with my advisor presents modeling systems EVA and Fleshing, which utilize closed-form formulae and analytic geometric techniques for interactive bending with local volume preservation. I am also interested in preserving the screen real estate of glyphs that represent data during interactive information exploration and animation.
